Privacy Policy for Knoxville Challenger

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide, improve, and personalize the App. Information is collected only as necessary for the App's functionality, and we limit collection to what is reasonably required.

Personal Information

Personal Information is data that identifies you as an individual. We collect:

• Account Information: First name, last name, the email address you sign in with, and any additional email addresses you link to your account.
• Sign-In Codes: When you sign in with your email address, we email you a one-time 6-digit code. We store only a secure hash of the code, never the code itself, and delete it within 48 hours.
• Event Ticket Data: Tickets purchased through Ticket Tailor under your email addresses, including ticket QR codes and any sponsor benefits that come with your ticket type. Payments are handled entirely by Ticket Tailor; we never receive or store payment card details.
• Ticket Transfers: If you transfer a ticket, the recipient's email address you enter.
• Preferences: Players you mark as favorites and your notification settings.

Device and Usage Information

We also collect:

• Device Information: IP address, device platform (iOS or Android), and, if you allow notifications, a push notification token for your device.
• Usage Data: In-app events such as screens viewed, sign-in method, players favorited, and ticket QR codes viewed, collected through Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and improve it. When you are signed in, these events are associated with your account ID.

The App also displays ATP live tennis data (scores, schedules, draws, and player information). This data is about the tournament, not about you.

Information from Third Parties

We receive limited information from sign-in services you choose to use:

• Sign in with Apple, Google Sign-In, and Facebook Login: Your name and email address, via Firebase Authentication. If you choose Apple's Hide My Email option, we receive an Apple private relay address instead of your real email address, and we do not display that relay address in the App.

Apple and Google Disclosures:

• Data collection is limited to App functionality and analytics. We do not collect data for tracking across apps/websites or advertising.
• For iOS users: See our App Privacy Nutrition Label in the App Store for detailed data types and purposes.
• For Android users: See our Data Safety section in Google Play for disclosures on collection, use, and sharing.

We do not collect sensitive data such as health, financial, biometric, or location data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for legitimate purposes, including:

• Providing and maintaining App services (e.g., user authentication, event ticket management, displaying ATP live tennis data).
• Improving the App (e.g., bug fixes, performance analytics via Firebase).
• Personalizing your experience (e.g., highlighting your favorite players and showing sponsor benefits for your tickets).
• Sending push notifications you have allowed, such as match updates for your favorite players, tournament news, and, for sponsor ticket holders, sponsor news and offers. You can turn each type off in the App's Notification Settings or in your device settings.
• Communicating with you by email (e.g., sign-in codes, ticket transfer notices, account deletion confirmations, and support responses).
• Complying with legal obligations.

Data is processed on-device where possible; off-device transmission is minimized and secured. We do not use your data for advertising, tracking, or purposes incompatible with those disclosed.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own purposes. Data is only shared as follows:

• Service Providers: With trusted third parties who assist us, such as Google Firebase (sign-in, analytics, and push notification delivery), Ticket Tailor (ticket sales and ticket management), Resend (email delivery), and our cloud hosting provider. These providers process data only on our behalf and are prohibited from using it for their own purposes. We do not send your personal information to the ATP.
• Ticket Transfers: When you transfer a ticket, the recipient is emailed and told who sent it.
• Business Transfers: In the event of mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales, with notice to you.
• Legal Requirements: To comply with laws, respond to subpoenas, or protect our rights or safety.

Linked to Identity: Personal data (e.g., name, email) is linked to your account for functionality. When you are signed in, usage analytics are linked to your account ID. We do not use any of this data for advertising or to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures (e.g., encryption, access controls, regular audits) to protect your information. Data transmitted between the App, our servers, and our service providers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Transmit sensitive data only over secure connections.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only as long as necessary, no longer than 2 years from the end of the most recent tournament event, unless required by law.

Your Rights: You can:

• Access or update your information via the App's profile page or by contacting foundation@mcnabb.org.
• Delete your account and associated data in the App (User tab, then Delete My Data) on iOS and Android, or through our account deletion page. Deletion is completed after a 24-hour grace period; signing back in during that period cancels it. If you signed in with Apple, we also revoke the App's access to your Apple ID.
• Request deletion by emailing foundation@mcnabb.org (processed within 30 days, except for legal retention requirements).
• Turn off push notifications at any time in the App's Notification Settings or in your device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is designed for all ages and contains no age-restricted content. We rely on Apple and Google App Store parental consent mechanisms for users under 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect data from children without such consent. If we discover such collection, we will delete it promptly. 7. International Data Transfers

The App is not intended for international audiences. Data is primarily processed in the United States. If accessed from outside the U.S., you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and stored in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will be posted here with the new effective date. Significant changes will be notified in-app or via email to registered users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
